Cricket Club formed a cricket nursery in 2007, thanks to a
two-year grant from the charity Access Sport. There are around 45
children who have joined, 14 of which are girls. Any child from 6
years of age may join LCC and engage the services of an ECB level
II qualified coach for the Junior Section. Recently, three members
of the senior club have qualified as Level I ECB Assistant
coaches, one of whom is going on to qualify at Level II. Coaching
and practise evenings are held every Tuesday from 6:00pm and all
juniors are welcome. For the 2010 season, LCC Juniors will compete
in the South Devon Youth League – Under 13’s Division.
